Loco Coyote Run
Posted on May 5th, 2010 No commentsThis Saturday, May 8th, we will meet at the Mobil station at exit 408/S. Main Street Weatherford at 9:30am. So just keep going west on I-20 for a couple of more miles past Willow Park and exit at 408. You will see the Mobil station on your right. There is a Starbucks, Wendys and McDonalds all at this intersection as well.
I will have copies of route instructions for everyone. Please email me at mtbrunner14@hotmail.com if you plan on joining us so I can have enough copies.Get there around 9:30am so you can gas up/eat etc. You should have a full tank when we leave. Last time we had Jim Horn whining about almost being out of fuel in his brand new GTR before we reached the Coyote. Can’t imagine why he was not getting good mileage!
Please ensure that your tires and vehicles are in safe running condition so we can have a fun and safe cruise.
We’ll depart 10:00ish.The 2010 Loco Coyote Run is on for Saturday May 8th, weather permitting of course. ZCOT will be participating too and a number of people signed up already at their last meeting.
The Loco Coyote is a true Texas Roadhouse with great country atmosphere and awesome BBQ, burgers, beer etc. You’ll not believe it until you go to the Coyote and you’d probably never find it if you weren’t really looking for it.
Be sure and bring your family radios and some dramamine for your passengers if they are prone to motion sickness!!
Just kidding about the dramamine but I promise you some great roads, scenery and maybe even some wildflowers. Here’s a Google Map of the destination.

Kennedale Raceway This Sunday
Posted on April 9th, 2010 No commentsFor those of you planning to go to Kennedale, a few of us are heading there right when the gates open, at 2:30ish on Sunday, April 11th.
I’ll bring my digital camera, but if you have a camcorder or camera please bring it and record video of any runs and take pictures. Preferably of Zs and/or Nissan/Datsuns, but anything on fire or otherwise sensational in nature is great too.
$10 to watch, $15 to race. Females get in free after 4pm. Long pants, sleeved shirts, and closed shoes required to race.
The earlier you get there, the less crowded the place is, and the more runs you can get in. At 6:30, they may not allow any more street tires to run if there are a lot of slicks wanting to race.

Zmas Party & December Meeting
Posted on December 2nd, 2009 2 commentsDecember 19th is our “Zmas” party (get it!? Ok, I’ll stop). It’s also our meeting for this month (which would have been on the 10th).
SeasonZ GreetingZ
It’s that time of year again to celebrate the Christmas season!
Please join us again this year at the Brunner’s casa of craziness on
Saturday, December 19th from 6:30 to 10:00.
We will be serving homemade Gumbeaux and Cowtown Chili as ususal.
Soft drinks will be provided. If you’d like something special to
drink please bring it along with you and a designated driver. We
reserve the right to confiscate anyone’s keys, take their car and
street race it and make you sleep on the floor if you’ve had too much
spirit and no designated driver! This could be fun! I’ve never
driven a GTR or a 370.Z ya there.
If you would like directions, please post a comment (preferably with a valid email address!)

Galaxy Drive-In Cruise
Posted on October 26th, 2009 2 commentsBefore our next meeting there’s a cruise out to the Galaxy drive-in theater near Ennis. This happens on November 7th, a Saturday.
We plan on meeting at Fat Daddy’s (the usual club meeting place) at 2pm to eat a somewhat late lunch for an hour or so. Then we would drive out to the theater, arriving by 6pm, which is the time the box office opens. We would arrive at that time so we would be able to park next to each other.
Here is a Google Maps link to the proposed cruise route.
Post your comments for any suggestions or questions.
